Administrator

The Administrator is responsible for providing a professional support service to the tax team.

The key responsibilities of the administrator are:

  1. To provide voice dictation and copy typing support to the tax team, including workflow management assistance.

  2. Photocopying, scanning, faxing, filing and making up client files.

  3. To maintain the client database, which includes:

    • setting up new client records, using checklists to ensure all details are available and recorded correctly;

    • producing client correspondence;

    • producing letters of engagement, which includes both standard templates and deviations; and

    • monitoring the return of letters of engagement.

  4. To assist with incoming and outgoing post.

  5. To support the tax team with projects, such as creating reports and proposals.

  6. To greet visitors, make appointments as necessary, and actively take on administrative duties as required, including occasional reception cover.

The ideal candidate will:

  1. Be educated to GCSE level or equivalent.

  2. Have experience of Microsoft Office software.

  3. Have previous experience in an administrative and client facing role.

  4. Be methodical and accurate in their approach to work.
