Joining us as an internal communications coordinator, you need to be a creative and confident team player with a keen eye for detail and an ability to work to your own initiative. It would be advantageous to have the following skills, but we welcome all applicants to join our talented team:
- Writing, editing and proofreading as well as the journalistic ability to source stories from team members
- Speaking with a sensitivity to the company’s goals and values and the ability to relay them appropriately
- Interpersonal and relationship-building with the confidence to work with senior business executives
- Creative ability to develop and support communication strategies
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office communication platforms, including SharePoint and Teams
What does this role involve?
As an internal communications coordinator, you will be responsible for managing organisation-wide messages, keeping team members informed of developments in a clear, consistent and timely manner. You will liaise and collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop, finalise and distribute communications that inform, engage and excite our team members as part of a communication strategy that supports business objectives. You will plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communication platforms, ensuring messaging is consistent with our brand voice and tone across all mediums. Membership and CPD with the Chartered Institute of Public Relations or the Chartered Institute of Marketing will be supported.
