IT Analyst

SUMMARY OF ROLE

To provide high quality service, support and care to Datcom clients.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES OF ALL SERVICE DESK STAFF

Support

  • Remain in constant communication with customers and avoid techy speak
  • Follow, understand and memorise the Datcom Operating Procedures manual
  • Ensure Datcom SLA’s are met and aren’t breached
  • Maintain any equipment provided by Datcom for the purposes of the role
  • Update procedures, forms and KB articles whenever applicable
  • Go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that the customer receives an excellent service
  • Keep to deadlines and appointments
  • Always maintain a positive attitude and always be polite to customers
  • Follow the Datcom dress code and always appear smart
  • Follow the Datcom customer services guide at all times
  • Always do what you say you will do
  • Always treat customers with the upmost respect, they keep us all employed

Admin

  • Maintain own job list ensure all jobs are kept up to date
  • Maintain own email account in an efficient manner
  • Maintain own and shared diaries
  • Complete time sheets either same day or next day by 10am
  • Keep a tidy, paperless work area in all parts of the office in accordance with ISO standards

IT Analyst

Support

  • Provide 1st line technical support to clients
  • Ensure Datcom client portal submissions are acknowledged and all relevant information is acquired
  • Ensure that the system support account is checked and processed every 15 minutes
  • Ensure all incoming calls are answered within 3 rings

 

Qualifications

To be either enrolled on the Datcom Apprenticeship Programme or possess proven basic IT knowledge
