This role will form an integral part of the Payroll’s service line structure ensuring our teams are more agile, ensuring thorough checking and quality standards, resource management and team support and development.
As a Team Leader you will ‘own’ a client base for your identified hub and will be responsible to ensure work is spread effectively and evenly across your team made up of Payroll Processors and Trainees. This will ensure client work is completed on time and to the highest quality standards, that resources are managed effectively reducing the need for excessive overtime, ensuring resource is focused in the correct way and that team members are fully supported and developed.
- You will have strong people skills working in an inspirational and respectful manner with team members and clients. You will communicate effectively with your team and clients.
- You will report directly to a Senior Supervisor and will need to be confident to present, challenge and apply your knowledge to resolve team and client challenges.
- You will work with other Team Leaders to share knowledge, ensuring consistent procedures and standards and will also involve looking at process efficiency, technology and service delivery.
- You will be given full support by your Supervisor to ensure your role is a success.
