Datcom have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior IT Engineer with a proven background in technical support. This role would suite an enthusiastic, career driven individual, who would like to progress into a lead IT role.

The role will involve working with a wide variety of technologies in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate should have several years’ experience supporting Microsoft-based networks and O365 in a similar environment. Exposure to Cisco networks, virtualisation technologies and telephony system would be a distinct advantage.
Responsibilities will include incident/change/request resolution and project work. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure that the client’s needs are met, through the use of KPIs and SLAs. You will manage your workload through a helpdesk ticketing system with minimal supervision. You will be a confident point of escalation for 2nd line requests, with a desire to pursue resolutions to difficult issues, prior to escalating to 3rd line.
