Trainee Tax Assistant

The Trainee Tax Assistant is responsible for providing general administrative and technical support to the team. Under the guidance of a manager, they will complete personal, trust and business tax computations as well as assist on tax advisory projects.

The Key Responsibilities of the Trainee Tax Assistant include:

  1. Preparing personal, partnership and trust tax computations and P11D’s under supervision.

  2. Providing technical support and undertake research for their team.

  3. Dealing effectively with clients within their range of expertise and to refer to their senior before giving any advice.

  4. Proactively managing their own personal study to improve their knowledge and technical abilities.

  5. To perform administrative duties for department as required.

  6. To respect client confidentiality and report any issues or concerns which may affect client relationships to the client director, for example money laundering, unethical business practice, and complaints.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be:

  • Enthusiastic, a good communicator and a team player.

  • Willing to study to achieve a professional tax qualification.

  • In possession of suitable IT skills to operate in-house programs and prepare and develop spreadsheets as necessary.


Full training will be provided for this role.
